MSI-223.25
Application area
The Trita® MSI Analysis Kit has been designed to identify the instability of microsatellite repeat sequences in human cells. This is achieved by utilizing the Multiplex fluorescent PCR method along with specific primers that are labeled with four distinct fluorescent colors (6-FAMTM, VIC®, NEDTM, PET®). The kit focuses on investigating specific repetitive sequences associated with the MMR system. These sequences encompass five mononucleotide markers (BAT-25, BAT-26, NR-21, FGA, NR-24 & MONO-27) that aid in determining the MSI status in genomic DNA, as well as a pentanucleotide marker (Penta D) that ensures the control of reaction contamination.
To detect the PCR products, capillary electrophoresis is employed, utilizing a genetic analyzer [models 3130(XI) and 3500(XI)]. The ultimate results can be interpreted and analyzed through the utilization of the GeneMarker® software, which is based on the panel kit. The subsequent table illustrates the characteristics and specificities of the markers examined by this particular product.
